We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on MJRishta:
- Identity Data: Name, Gender, Date of Birth.
- Contact Data: Verified Email Address and Mobile Number.
- Profile Attributes: Community, Caste, Higher Education, Occupation, and Annual Income.
- Media: Photographs uploaded to your profile.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used for the following matchmaking purposes:
- To create and manage your membership account.
- To enable search and discovery of your profile by other registered members.
- To facilitate communication (Chat and Calls) between matched users.
- To verify your identity and ensure the safety of our community.
3. Data Sharing & Security
Your privacy is our priority. We handle data sharing as follows:
- Public Profile: Your general profile details (except contact info) are visible to all registered members.
- Contact Reveal: Your phone number is only shared with premium members whose interest you have explicitly accepted.
- No Sale of Data: We do NOT sell or share your data with advertisers or third-party marketing firms.
4. Your Choice & Account Deletion
You can manage your privacy settings or delete your account at any time through the Profile Settings. Upon account deletion, all your personal identifiers and photos are permanently purged from our active systems within 30 days.
