1. Information We Collect
During account creation and profile setup, we collect the following sensitive information:
Personal Identifiers: Name, Email, and Phone Number (for OTP verification and contact reveal).
Demographics: Gender, Date of Birth, Caste, Community, and Education.
Visual Content: Photographs uploaded by you to represent your profile.
Device Info: IP address and browser type for security monitoring.
2. Use of Your Personal Information
We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:
Matchmaking: To show your profile to eligible matches based on Garhwali/Kumaoni preferences.
Contact Reveals: To share your mobile number EXPLICITLY AND ONLY with premium users whom you have accepted.
Security: To verify your identity and prevent fraudulent activities.
Communication: To send account notifications and magic links for passwordless login.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We share your data with trusted partners only to perform essential services:
Supabase / Google: For authentication and cloud database security.
Other Users: Your public profile data is visible to registered MJRishta members. Private contact info is hidden until revealed.
We DO NOT sell, rent, or lease our customer lists to third parties.
4. Account Deletion & Data Retention
You have full control over your data. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting our support team or using the settings in your profile. Upon deletion, all your personal data, including photos and chat history, will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days.
